A second on Pynchon's critical reputation

As I said, this book will be the talk of the town, the 92Y is all
Alice M now, but this book is soooo about the Lefty to Liberal Jewish
NYers and their fellow travelers, the list that one P list provided,
of NY Jewish citizens of the City who do all those wonderful things,
like teach, and support the arts.

Pynchon may have failed to be made an honorary Black, but he's Jewish
to the bone.
