This reminds me of one post I forgot to post....Maxine on...p. 18
'any minute the pages of this book, maybe allegorically The Law, are about to be set on fire
by this burning torch, possibly the Light of Truth? Is somebody trying to say something, the Law in flames here,
the terrible inflexible price of Truth.....That's it!
Secret anarchist code messages!
P on his own work? Deeper Truth vs. the Law of a Law & Order-type?
And, in his double meaningful way, often, about the USA of A in 2001? The Law in flames...
anarchy as the media means it? Anti-Law & Order because of America now.

In case you're interested...
I've attached a file with the seal of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, which is discussed in passing at some point... if the attachment doesn't come through, here's a link to a page on the ACFE site that has the seal...
http://www.acfe.com/membership-certification.aspx
and here's another link to a page that provides background on the organization....

They originated, and are headquartered, here in Austin TX... I happen to be one... needless to say, it was quite a surprise to see that Maxine is a (former) colleague... :)
Never been told any clubs exclusive to CFEs, like the one discussed in BE, but maybe they've juat made an effort to keep the riff raff (me) out...
