I enjoyed it -- in fact more than After Theory or LitTheory -Introduction.
Definitely an Introduction To (and Exemplars Of) Critical Basics, aimed at
lay readers but neither condescending nor cutesy.

Subject: Eagleton's "new" book
Has anyone read Terry Eagleton's "How To Read Literature" published this
last May? How was it? Worthwhile? Does he have anything to add to
Forster, Lodge, Bloom, Wood, Kundera or others (I've read those and more).
Sorry if this has come up before. I'm on the verge of getting it because
I'm curious, it's not expensive, it's new, it's a topic I enjoy, and I
don't think I've read any Eagleton - although I've heard much about him.
thanks,
Bekah
