New Bleeding Edge book trailer

This trailer reminded me, encapsulated, of some of the best plist conversations where we tried to determine WHERE the satire cut.......perhaps to get to where we said EVERYWHERE ( is where it cut). Everything. 

Here: this character is not from the book. ( unlike P narrating Inherent Vice ) He wears a T--shirt saying he IS Tom Pynchon, we know he isn't yet he says he is like " an all-seeing eye"---standard words to describe an omniscient or Semi-omniscient narrator...yet, he knows Maxine but " doesn't know how it [the story] ends"....he is so full of supposed self-awareness, hip knowingness ( way overdone ala TRP, but I still laughed) .......

One might say it risks anti-Semitism as it--the narrator--proclaims Semitic self-love....which to me
shows it isn't.......shows the evisceration of class....the Upper West Side powerful....

What about that ' I deal with power hierarchies from the margins' line?... Articulating one of TRP's 
BIG themes [power & hierarcy]....from the margins [ where the preterites live?]
