I hoped for an earlier start too..because, on the Inherent Vice Read most overarching opinions were already stated, there was repetition ( there always is that, as my finger points backwards too) on the Read and many with strongest opinions did not seem to want to host. For me, what bothered was not so much any repetition but that we kept talking within the pages in question about future stuff we all knew we knew.
But, Morris led the grassroots movement, scored a resounding majority and later, I.E Oct 21 it seems to be.
Let's most of us Host and most of that within our pages, I ask.
But we will see.

The last time I was active on the P-List, which was when M&D came out, some of the academics wanted to wait to give them and their compadres a chance to sink their teeth into it first but the P-List went ahead and posted their own thoughts. If the official group reading is a month after release I have no doubt that many of the members here will post their thoughts prior to then (with Spoiler notices, of course).
