"Does size matter" is, in FAQ, exactly my infantile preoccupation of
late, re: comix. (Which influenced P. in a junk culture way, obv., but
further utility of the medium seems of little interest to the man.
Zack Snyder's picture for every page is as close to a P graphic novel
as we're likely to ever see.)

In ch. 14 of Eddie Campbell's 'How To Be An Artist', he remarks,
"Pedants may demand a literal reading of the words [graphic novel]....
They'll want to subdivide it, as though a 'novel' has a prescribed
weight, into 'novella' and 'novelette', with a disregard for the
origins of these words." While a fair point, I find myself in rare &
reluctant agreement with Dave Sim, in that it takes an avg. of 500
comic pages to achieve the same degree of wholly immersive
complexity...
