NP: Paranoia's changing face

Sorry if already posted - Interesting piece in the New Yorker that
brings up how the content of paranoid delusions often has cultural and
technological ties to the context.

"in the 40s, the Japanese controlled American minds with radio waves;
in the 50s, the Soviets accomplished this with satellites; in the 70s,
the CIA implanted computer chips into people's brains."

Apparently the last decade and a half has seen a big upswing in people
thinking that they're the star of a reality show.
