BE and COL49, GR

So, in the last chapter of COL49, Oedipa overhears (phone call) a young
child named Maxine getting yelled at ... the math checks out, but I'm not
sure of the geography.  Think P just likes the name, or is this a young BE
Maxine?

Also, is there a chance Byron made it into Elaine's collection of light
bulbs?

Any other *possible* direct connections between BE and P's earlier novels?
