Money for Something (Dollars daman me!)

Good read. I think it confuddles the binary of Free and Antifree in
that supporters of the former are usually consumers (we don't want to
have to pay for our music/reading/software!) while supporters of the
latter are producers (we wanna get paid for our work!). There were
never many writers who were pro Free, and the argument has ever been
that consumers always want to pay less (or nothing).
I suppose Spotify, Netflix etc are the result, whereby we expect to
pay hardly anything for our content, and the creators get right
royally screwed. Outside of writing, the Free movement gets all the
gravy (wiped from its slavering lips by a dutiful intern).
