True Detective plagiarized?

Anyone here read Ligotti? This is the first I've ever heard of him, so it's hard for me to judge how "Ligottian" True Detecive is. I find the charges very believable, given how none of Cohle's dark worldview, or even the many references to the Yellow King ultimately had a shred of relevance to the final episode.
