It's interesting to note that that while many have observed the references
to The Odyssey in "O' Brother, Where Art Thou?," the references to the
movie of The Wizard of Oz are even stronger, e.g. the three imperfect
seekers, and the KKK scene, where the hooded troops march about like the
guards at the witch's palace, and the the three rescuers jump three of them
and disguise themselves in their uniforms.
