So the middle is excluded in this situation? You either agree with everything the US has done in the Ukraine, or you're a Putin lover? What would the excluded middle look like? Are people who understand the realpolitik - that a superpower is likely to defend its borders - mere apologists for Putin? Are people who criticize Obama's political strategy in the Ukraine - on any level - Putin lovers? What about the people who hate Obama's military strategy in Iraq? Are we Assad lovers? What happens to the people who find both sides of these conflicts abhorrent? Is there some sort of spectrum where we can exist? Pray tell.
