Clemens Setz, "Indigo"

An acclaimed work by a young Austrian author, obviously influenced by
Thomas Pynchon. The Dodo scene from GR is paraphrased in the book by one
of the protagonists because it offers an "unsurpassably meaningful image
of mankind."

"There they were, the silent egg and the crazy Dutchmen, and the hookgun
that linked them forever, framed, brilliantly motionless as any
Vermeer." is quoted verbatim in English. As it should be.

(I hope that Setz gets the quote right, because I am quoting from his
book...)

"Indigo" is available in English.

Not a masterpiece, I think, but well worth reading.
