Very strange about RFK and Polanski/Tate. There is a whole line of IV that Robin and I particularly looked at in the group read concerning the role of H Hughes in the politics of the time in question, and the implication of his role In RFK assassination. 

PK Dick  in Rado Free Albemuth develops the idea of Reagan/ Nixon as  manchurian candidate.  He has them operating not out of admiration for communism in terms of its vague egalitarian goals but out of an admiration for the authoritarian power of Mao/ Stalin etc. and having the same tendency toward a surveillance police state.
