Russia has claimed that there are 27 Ukrainian missile batteries in the 
region. If the batteries are there, this is because Ukrainians fear an 
aerial attack from Russia, of course, not from the rebels.

RT's spin is to be expected. If the information about Ukrainian missile 
batteries in the region has been contradicted, let me know. It was the 
first link I came across with regard to the matter.

Yes. Perhaps it is true, and then it would be quite damning. Perhaps it 
was not Strelkin's website as he seems to claim. Who is to say?

Fog of war, truth being the first victim and such...

We know nothing. But the West obviously has an agenda. And once again 
the intelligence and the facts (or, in this case, the absence of facts) 
are fixed around the policy.
