"Shirer does not  blame the Germans as Germans" . Sees a nationalist philosopher and a narrow, distortive schoolteacher combining with Hitler's anti-Semitic mind......

Bet TRP read this, since almost everyone did when it was hot. Was thickest, most expensive
MASS MARKET paperback in the US at the time. Which meant drugstore racks, train and bus stations, newsstand distribution. We wanted to know why and how.
