Anybody interested in Project Paperclip should probably stay away from the Jacobson book

Machiavelli taught us long ago that one whose lot it is to be "prince"
can't expect to enjoy the luxury of moral purity and the soul-saving that
goes with it. If M. didn't write something to this effect he should have.
