tangential to this but more than relevant--the authentic depiction of
low-level wise guys in the Sopranos was so spot on, bugged discussions of
mobsters (who loved the show) were wondering if there was some sort of spy
hanging around and funneling anecdotes to the producers.
reality influencing fiction and back again. suppose thats just the nature
of most things
