Have to say, I was incredibly disappointed with the finale, from the trite redneck psycho-killer, to the sappy embracing of the light, to the in-your-face Christ imagery, to the retreat to Family. Come to think of it, a lot of this turns up in Late Pynchon's endings. Don't like them there either.
