Where did you see it,Laura?
Has anyone read Jodorowsky's books?
I loved El Topo on its first run (saw it in a skinflick house in SLC) also loved Magic Mountain
Most excessive director, ever!

A really entertaining documentary about surreal (El Topo) Mexican director Jodorowsky's ill-fated attempt to create a screen version of the sci-fi classic Dune (which he decided to make without having actually read the book). After seeing this, I'm absolutely convinced that if this movie had been made, it would've been horrifically bad. But as a testament to artistic vision and passion, this documentary is well worth seeing. I'm pretty sure that most of the people on the p-list would absolutely love it.
