Thanks, I’m re-reading-by-listening to the audiobook now, and on the way to our town’s film fest this afternoon hit Pychon’s tongue polonaise (and assumed that adding “polonaise” was his invention.)

I’m going to go copy his recipe now, which includes mangos and ginger snaps. I love ginger snaps. I think it’s a little too ambitious for me, but we’ll see what I think in the light of day tomorrow. Maybe I’ll attempt it. It’s pretty natural hook, when an author provides a recipe.
