I liked the Act of Killing as well. In fact, we got to the screening of it
at Lincoln Center where the director introduced the film in person. pretty
depressing stuff but I only wish that the film gave some sort of context to
the Suharto/Sukarno/Indonesian gov't efforts at suppressing communism in
the 60s (and what it morphed into, out and out torture and murder for
non-political reasons)
