I can't fucking stand Slavov Zizek

Change my mind? I respect the opinions of this list (for a reason that
suddenly escapes me) and I would like to keep most of my vitriol away from
those dear friends of mine who love Zizek.
They all seem to have a thing in common: they've picked up and never
finished *Gravity's Rainbow* but love *Infinite Jest* -- and that seems, in
my more impoverished states of mind, to inform a wider inability on their
part to come to terms with Postmodernism without a Very Strong tether of
Pop Culture. .
Zizek seems to me to be the worst kind of poseur, regurgitating whatever
philosophy book he just read with an unhealthy dose of pop-culture
references mixed in. I do not see time being at all kind to him (or to
David Foster Wallace, for that matter)

What would you recommend I read to change my mind about this guy -- who
seems unable to smell his own asshole, and is followed by a plethora of
Hipster Youth all eager to suck his Culturally Aware Cock...?
What the fuck *is *Cultural Awareness anymore?
