Not Everyone Appreciates GR

That's rough. Gaddis is probably a harder sell than Pynchon. There is a
certain pop culture mind share that Pynchon has that Gaddis lacks (the
movie, for example).

I liked GR throughout, and found the last 200 pages or so to be
particularly great. "Who would have thought so many would be here? ..." ;
"He has warped a skein of his dreams into Pirate's own ... " ; the musings
on Imipolex G, to say nothing of Byron and the breakdown into superheroes.
Lots to love in the last half.
