Not Everyone Appreciates GR

I have loosely thought it was the science, and tech stuff ( and themes) in TRP that did most for his " cult" readership....those into computers, etc....

I have also thought his " pop culture" stuff did not help his readership.

( Except that he is a lot more fun/interesting to explore ala wiki and this list because of pop and historical allusions. He teeters on beams of allegory stretch upon stretch of writing and overarchingly. Isn't figuring that out more " fun" than Gaddis's straighter insights, so to speak?)
( This is not a ranking of quality and insight of each writer.)
