Etymology: < post-classical Latin acyrologia incorrect use of language
(from 4th cent. in grammarians) < Hellenistic Greek ἀκυρολογία < ancient
Greek ἀ- a- prefix6 + κῦρος authority (see kyrine n.) + -λογία -logy comb.
