What was the P-List consensus (if there was one) on Franzen's FREEDOM?

Personally, I thought it was a compulsively readable, highly realistic
portrayal of so-called "white people's problems", not quite on par
with Revolutionary Road or the best Updike, but still pretty darn well
written, and possibly the most realistic rock-and-roll novel (one
major subplot) ever done. Certainly miles better than Delillo's Great
Jones Street!

Anybody else like it?
