What was the P-List consensus (if there was one) on Franzen's FREEDOM?

The new one is a long " not entirely realistic"---sez his editor---multi-generational saga. I'm not too interested, compared to other books, since I think Corrections was his Booth Tarkington best too. ....Freedom was too flawed to me.
