GR audiobook (NYT review)

The Guidall reading is indeed amazing. I heard the samizdat version (it was originally done as a book for the blind and I don't think it was ever commercially available) and that version had lots of weird hissing and some choppy bits, but that only made it seem to me like a pirate shortwave broadcast from inside the Zone.

This is probably the first time I've read a popular media article that
references Gravity's Rainbow where I feel as though the author of the
piece has actually read and understood the work... probably better
than I'm capable of doing. Which is humbling. But a damn fine piece of
writing about a damn fine piece of writing, eh wot?
