Inherent Vice trending

Classifying IV as a mystery or thriller, strictly for marketing purposes, does everyone a disservice. Reminds me of the time I was looking for Stephenson's Cryptonomicon and couldn't find it, because I didn't think to look in the sci-fi section (where it absolutely doesn't belong).
