Cannabis discovered in tobacco pipes found in William Shakespeare's garden

I had a similar experience when Shakespeare, some said, was gay was pushed
by queer theorists during the culture wars.

Of course there is no proof that Shakespeare smoked a pipe, owned a pipe,
ever smoked anything. There is no mention of pipes or grass or tobacco in
his plays, poems, letters...anywhere.

The Shakespeare was gay theory has a bit more to support it, but is little
more than speculation and readings of his sonnet series as
autobiographical, though there is nothing in his biography to suppot this
reading and much to undermine it.

Shakespeare was a Catholic is a better one.
