Demanding $15 million is a pretty gross exploitation of the publicity 
the incident attracted, but the initial accusation leveled against Ahmed 
is obviously symptomatic of post-9/11 racism, and you have to be glad 
that the treatment of him by the faculty was so widely denounced.
