NP - The Congress (2013)

I thought the Congress was fantastic. I'm a borderline robot when it comes
to emotions but I can't count how many times I was on the verge of tears
watching this, and feeling like fool the next instant. Hard for me to say
what exactly it was that gripped me. Shades of Perky Pat and other recent
p-list mentionings (Grace Kelly even makes an appearance).
I can certainly see why some folks, like Bailey, not folks *like* Bailey,
wouldn't like, like the flick but I think it is at least worth seeing for
Robin Wright's performance. It does feel like a good choice for the p-list
to see. It's a better movie than "Cool World" at any rate, though I like
that one too.
The premise of the technology did not feel that far-fetched coming from
someone who plays a healthy amount of video games, which are increasingly
using full-body scans of actors to do pretty much whatever the designers
want them to do in the fictional world. Or even to do whatever the player
wants them to do. I wonder what kind of things they have done with Ms.
Joosten's character model that they haven't told her about
