Not "novel of ideas" but what was blowing in the Wind

Before, during, and after GR.

The novel of ideas is too confusing to me. I find that most definitions are
loaded up with negative adjectives and that it does more harm than good.

I like the thread that considers how America produced a different fiction
from Europe.

In this review, some good stuff.
