Can you remember any of the other films screened on the Soviet scofield
weeeend? Solaris would be another obvious choice, even at the risk of
Tarkovsky overload. There's also a Sukorov film which I can't recall the
title of, something similar to End of Days ...

Hard To Be A God by Alexei German roved too inchoate for my tastes, but
it's a worthy part of the same tradition (and another Strugasky adaptation
I believe)
