NP - Boyhood (movie)

Third night trying to watch Boyhood. I am not liking it.

Filming a male child's development over large gaps is a documentary film
tactic.  Using a person's aging/growing as a main feature of a film in this
instance feels forced. The story, as told,  is banal, so who cares?
It doesn't get better.  This is a lame, boring drama draped over a long
term film portrait of a real child.
