these chapters even when he is not interjected into the text---used
'Cackling' to describe the
sisters.....

p.92 Now Mason thinks that the Vroom Poultry learn their 'vocal
assaults', their chicken clucking?
from their Owners, those Girls....

Also,  af ew pages back in the last chapter, we learn that Mason is
presumed to need to have
the Dutch dances 'translated"....He can't understand dances?
...Puritans don't dance?
