Realize what with the success of IV this is probably a pig-ignorant
question, but who exactly has been teething for a big-screen Mailer
adaptation?  Really.​

To be honest I've only read 'The Spooky Art' and 'Ancient Evenings' so it's
not like I'm an arbiter of taste or anything.  It just seems like studios
rooting around for a contemporary 'The Strawberry Statement' b/c dissent is
fashionable again...
