i am presently reading her Kundalini book, given free with commitment to
provide an Amazon review. I won't review here first, but she has a deity
called White Tara to whom she quotes extensively. She advises that we all
need a relationship to a superior/deity, devotion and submission being
prime components of what she calls the "sea of love."

TS: It took me a while to fully understand that any mental effort or
manipulation technique is counterproductive when it comes to energy work.
The deepest nature of our chakrras is identical with our divine nature.
The Sea of Love is a sense of total relaxation, openness and allowing. It
is not computable with any form of mental effort.
