The Dark Passages & the California Dickstory

There are lots of ways we might stack these books.  While all the books are
saturated with media, photography, film, the movies, TV, Television, Made
for TV Film....VL, IV, and BE are TV saturated. BE is internet saturated
and this may be one reason to argue it is a California novel, but it's a
weak argument.
