Borgman

it's beautifully shot--would've liked to have seen on big screen. americans
films in general tend to want to explain the mysterious in some way,
whereas in movies like Under the Skin and Borgman that isnt the case which
lends itself to appreciating when audiences are trusted by the filmmaker.
Of course, you need to give viewers something to conenct to, to hang their
impressions on. it's not easy to do. if you miss you came across as
pretentious or god forbid laughable. no artist wants to get laughed at.

for me the beach scene in Under the Skin was up there with the woods
