Great catch, connected directly by cosmic wormhole to the Chums looking out
over Chicago and the westering plains from their airship, and to various
other parts of P's works. I think it is the most pervasive of his great
themes: the way human enterprise endlessly distorts/defaces the lands we
live upon.
