Damn.  I won't be there (doctors/health/finances willing) 'til the
weekend of July 17th - 20th.

Meanwhile, I know nothing about jazz, but I did get a book on Gil
Evans for a friend way back when, + another friend spun his (killer,
from that all-Hendrix-cover LP) cover of Jimi Hendrix's "Crosstown
Traffic" (followed by a Parliament track I can't recall; I eventually
ended the night w/ "Deux Oiseaux" by France Gall followed by
"Archangels Thunderbirds" by Amon Duul II [?!]) ...
