Well, I still must sort out the irony going on, I mean
he IS a character without qualities---
can make one think of Slothrop vanishing, I guess---but more
a character lacking a tradition of the 'human' [qualities] so
I do not yet know what all to make of his riffs on

math and science BUT my gawd, he links to bad societal shit
early on...root of it all......
