A New Translation of The One Russian Science Fiction Novel You Absolutely Must Read

Don't recall if it's popped up here, but another Strugatsky work (Hard to
Be a God) has recently gotten a film version (way, way darker than the
source), as well as a treatment by the same translator. Thought that book
better than Roadside Picnic.

The Tarkovsky movie is rough around the edges, but the rail sequence was
pretty phenomenal.
