I've met a number of wonderfully crazy and smart people on this list, going
on 20 years now. folks who appreciate Pynchon, who somehow are tuned into
what the man brings.
i never met Dave and I'm sorry I didn't. reading his obit I see a little of
myself. makes one humble.
Pynchon has always been about life vs death. and so are we in our
interactions here, ever on the side of life. our individual passings wont
change that, even in death
I for one will raise a glass over the weekend to Mr Monroe and will,
paraphrasing the Quakers, keep him in the light
rich
