Dave Monroe has moved on

When I acquired my first home computer, on-line social networking as we now
know it did not exist. No facebook, no Myspace, no Twitter, no Google+. I
had to search for sites that suited my interests and attracted people who
shared my passions. Dave Monroe was probably my first cyber-friend. The
words "erudite" and "polymath" are insufficient to describe this man. He
was also one hell of a nice guy.

I never made it to Milwaukee to get rocked in the Soul Hole and have a beer
with Dave, but I often had a frosty on hand while laughing at his posts,
almost in real time. I learned a lot from him. I will miss him terribly.

A true Renaissance Man. I fear that we will not see his like again.
