Yes. The Bataclan had been threatened and attacked for its pro-Israel 
events.

"They hate us for our freedoms" is, once again, misleading at best. This 
was not or only partly about the hedonistic West, I suggest. It was 
mainly about France's substantial contribution to the Syria clusterfuck, 
not to mention winning hearts and minds in Libya. I am not talking about 
justification here, of course, merely about motive.

The terrorists were aiming for maximum media coverage. If those with 
tickets for the French-German friendly had managed to enter the Stade de 
France, the body count would have been even higher and the bloodbath 
would have been on prime time television in France and Germany.

The attack was also surprisingly sophisticated not only in planning and 
execution but also with regard to the political situation: It seems that 
the passport of a Syrian refugee found on the scene has turned out to be 
a fake. Nevertheless, it has already provided additional fodder for 
right-wingers all over Europe opposing the admittance of refugees from 
Syria. A small but significant false flag.
