When I think of a fine rock club of a - normally - non-ragged sort,
Bataclan is among the very first to come to mind.
Its size is just right, it is relaxed, you can see and hear the gigs well,
the bar is decent, cozy environs... And above all, first-rate acts through
the decades. (Seen David Byrne and Einstürzende Neubauten there.) I do hope
they can reopen the place soon.
