NP - Bob Moses

The great Ra-Kalam Bob Moses is our guest artist at Furman this week. He's
a hero of mine, and he is kicking my ass! He is a unique individual and a
monster musician. I don't think the kids here realize what an opportunity
this is.

We had a workshop last night that turned into a 4 1/2 hour rehearsal in
preparation for a concert tonight. He played the piano and drums and sang
and danced and critiqued and encouraged with unflagging energy. I finally
had to almost drag him out of the building so I could go home to my kids....

He'll be around all weekend, and I'll get the chance to hang and play with
him in a little more relaxed setting before he goes home on Monday.
